Wabasha New Blue Bookshelf Location

Greg Taylor

Gundersen St. Elizabeth’s partnered with United Way of Goodhue, Wabasha, & Pierce Counties to help the communities they serve.

Kim Wolter, St. Elizabeth’s Director of Impatient Services, says when they learned of the Blue Bookshelf program they wanted to help and decided to sponsor a Blue Bookshelf, to ensure that kids who might not have books available in their homes can have them.

Located at their new location in Mittel Schule, the Wabasha Food Share, now is home to a Blue Bookshelf where children can choose books to take home and keep. St. Elizabeth’s staff have volunteered to keep the shelf stocked with books provided by United Way.

All community members are welcome to utilize the Blue Bookshelf.
