TZD Guilty Goose Event

You are invited to the Guilty Goose in Zumbrota on Saturday, May 31st from 4- 7 pm for a FREE 21+ educational event to learn how alcohol affects you.

Officers from Zumbrota Police Department and Deputies from Goodhue County Sheriff's Office will be joined by Goodhue County Toward Zero Deaths and Goodhue County Health & Human Services staff to demonstrate field sobriety tests and encourage drivers to know their limits.

Goodhue County Sheriff's Office Community Engagement Deputy, Jen Jannett, says the goal through this event is to increase awareness and instill that you should never get behind the wheel when impaired.

Jannett says people who are drinking alcohol at the bar will pay for their own drinks but they can also get tested so they are safe and legal to get home.

Those who choose to abstain from alcohol use will have the chance to try the "fatal vision" goggles which simulate the visual impairment and distortion alcohol impairment can cause.
