Red Wing Amtrak Borealis Community Welcome

The Red Wing Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Red Wing invite the community to the Red Wing Depot, 420 Levee Street,  to welcome the inaugural trip of the Amtrak Borealis today.  

Starting today, Amtrak is running a second daily train service (Amtrak Borealis) between Chicago and Minneapolis-St. Paul and it’s due to arrive in Red Wing at 12:35 this afternoon and return from La Crosse tonight at 5:40 p.m.

The free community welcome runs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 pm and 5 pm to 6 pm.

There will be make and take crafts for all ages, live music, food trucks, a presentation from MnDOT and local dignitaries, a ribbon cutting, and more.
