National Eagle Center Programs

The National Eagle Center’s kids' program Fishing on the Refuge is coming back starting Thursday for another season of free angling and will be available from 10 am to 3 pm every Thursday and Sunday through August 12th.

Director of Marketing and Communications, Ed Hahn, the program is very popular with the kids and they make it easy.

Fishing on the Refuge provides everything they need: the poles, the tackle, and the life vests. Fishing on the Refuge is FREE with paid admission to the Center. The Center will have a member of staff or volunteer on-site to assist participants.

All fishing with National Eagle Center equipment is catch and release and participants fish from the public dock located outside the Center.

Hahn says Soar SOAR: Summer Splash is back Friday, June 23rd.
