Lake City Five for Food Drive

Greater Lake City Community Foundation’s annual fundraiser for the Lake City Food Shelf, Five for Food, has surpassed the $55,000 goal and surpassed last year’s record contributions by nearly seven thousand dollars.

The total received this year was $63,239.  The 2025 campaign raised $56,597. 

Campaign coordinator Bruce Carlstrom reported that forty sponsors pledged a total of $32,450 to be used to match contributions from the community. 

The Lake City Graphic and Lake Hits 95 radio provided in-kind contributions in publicity. 

Since its inception in 2014, Five for Food has provided over $430,000 in contributions and is the largest source of funding for the Lake City Food Shelf.
