The Goodhue County History Center, 1166 Oak Street in Red Wing, is celebrating Earth Day with their friends from Clean River Partners this weekend.
Saturday from noon to 3 pm, come learn about native plants and how they can help improve our watershed for free.
Clean River Partners will show us where and when to plant Minnesota native plants in the garden. Plus, enjoy hands-on demonstrations and see the impact native plants have on our soils and water.
Highlights include:
Hands-On Demonstrations
Earth Day Suncatcher Craft
Nature-Themed Scavenger Hunt and more.
Clean River Partners is a non-profit whose mission is to inspire people and organizations to value, protect and improve the Cannon River Watershed’s land and water.
The event Saturday is free, thanks to their sponsors, Sturdiwheat and Gemini.
Go to https://goodhuecountyhistory.org/ and look under the Events tab.
Earth Day this year is Wednesday, April 22nd.
