Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center, Lake City Kiwanis Club, Lake City Rotary, Greater Lake City Community Foundation are inviting Lake City area residents to a free event next week, Bringing Light into Darkness a Community Conversation about Suicide.
Join them Monday, May 13th at 5:30 pm at Lake City’s Lincoln High School for an evening of speakers, food, community togetherness, and connection.
Learn about community resources, how you can get help for yourself, and how you can help others. The event is intended for an audience of 14+ years of age.
From 5:30 pm-8:30 pm: Registration/Community Resource Tables: Register for your preferred breakout table group and check out all of the community resources available in the Lake City and the surrounding area.
6 pm-7 pm: Join them in the Lincoln High School theatre for speakers.
From 7 pm- 8 pm there will be an interactive breakout session with food.
