After a one-year absence in 2023, the Lake City Lions with the help of generous individuals, organizations and businesses, brought the annual fireworks display back to Lake Pepin last year to celebrate the 4th of July.
The Lake City American Legion Post and Auxiliary have continued their support of July 4th fireworks with a donation to the Lake City Lions fireworks fund.
The funds for the $1,000 check were from the Post/Auxiliary project “Flags of Valor.”
The fundraising goal for the 2025 fireworks is $20,000.
Donations can be made by check payable to Lake City Lions and mailed to P. O. Box 212, Lake City, MN 55041.
