Thanks to the Interact Club of Wabasha, the Wabasha Rotary, the Star of Hope , Dick's Fresh Market, and generous community donors, the Day of Giving has turned into the Week of Giving that wraps up Friday.
The Wabasha Area Food Share has been nearly depleted and needs help to restock to provide relief to those more than 1 in 10 people in our area that suffer from food insecurities.
Up to Friday, the Rotary and the Star of Hope will match $1.00 per pound of food donated up to $5,000. In addition, there will be 100% matching by Minnesota Food Share. Food donations are being accepted at Dick's Fresh Market and at the Wabasha-Kellogg Chamber & CVB office. Monetary donations are being accepted by WNB Financial.
