Red Wing Schools Lockdown

This afternoon,at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Red Wing High School was placed in a lockdown due to a threat made by a student.

The Red Wing Police Department responded to the school to investigate the threat.

At approximately 2:15 p.m., the threat was deemed not credible, and the lockdown was downgraded to a hold.

At 2:30 p.m., the hold was lifted and learning resumed.

A thorough investigation showed there was never a credible threat at the school.

Students were released at the usual time.
