If you have a student at Burnside Elementary School who has great ideas to share, Red Wing Mayor Gary Iocco wants to hear from them.
Burnside students are encouraged to submit a short essay explaining what they'd do as the Mayor of Red Wing for a day.
The winner will receive Chamber Bucks, police and fire tours and vehicle rides, and time to sit in the Mayor's seat.
Submissions are open until Wednesday, April 1.

Hard copies have been distributed at school.
Last year, Kylie Dahl, a student at Twin Bluff Middle School, won the Red Wing Mayor for a Day contest.
Kylie got to ride in a police car and fire truck, tour the public safety facilities and sit in the Mayor's chair with her name on the nameplate at a City Council meeting.
