Wabasha Veteran’s Park Dedication

This Thursday, September 10th, the Wabasha Community is invited to Veteran’s Park for a dedication ceremony at 10am for a new female Marine statue, which represents women who have served in the military.

It was donated by the Wabasha American Legion Auxiliary Unit 50. The statue is made by SVJ Creative designs.

Catherine Gallanberger, American Legion Commander will preside over the ceremony.

Under the direction of Tony Johnson and with help from City of Wabasha Public Works, Wabasha VFW, Wabasha American Legion, a Minnesota Arts and Cultura Grant, community donations, many improvements have been made to Veteran’s Park over the past several years to truly create a park that thanks our Veterans for their service.
