Wabasha Public Library Winter Reading Challenge

The Wabasha Public Library’s Winter Reading Challenge kicked off January 1st and runs through the end of the month.

Library Director, Beverly Hall, says the challenge is free and is for readers of all ages but they are reaching out to the local schools to get younger readers involved.

Hall says the challenge features a wide variety of books but do stick to the theme, which is Read for a Better World.

Halls says some books are available in print and others are available as online e-books.

The challenge is divided into 4 age groups and readers can win badges and prizes.

For more information and to sign up, go to https://wabasha.lib.mn.us/ and click on the Reading Challenges tab.

The program is sponsored by the Friends of the Wabasha Public Library.
