Wabasha Fire Department Fire Prevention Week

Fire Prevention Week was observed nationally from October 6th – 12th. 

On Wednesday, October 9th, the Wabasha Fire Department visited the public and private schools and also stopped by several local daycares to educate kids on fire prevention.

They also held their annual open house which attracted around 300 people.

The Wabasha Fire Department reminds people to check the batteries in their smoke alarms.
