Wabasha County is putting up for bid a 1999 High Model Mobile Home in Edge o’ Town Mobile Home Park, 1750 South Highway 61, Lot #54, Lake City.
The bid price accepted will be used against the MA Estate Claim to the State of Minnesota and any expenses still owed.
According to the Plainview News, the Wabasha County Board approved the classification and sale of six tax-forfeited parcels within the county.
The County Board must classify each forfeited parcel as ‘conservation land’ or ‘non-conservation land.’ Non-conservation land can be sold via an auction.
The Board was asked to approve the parcels as being deemed non-conservation, and to grant County staff the ability to be able to sell the parcels at their assessed values by auction. Staff can sell the property at a lower value which they deem appropriate for the specific parcel if the parcels do not sell at their assessed values.
