The Timberwolves are getting ready for their game against the worst team in the NBA. The Wolves visit the Pistons tomorrow night. Minnesota is coming off a 109-105 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday. Minnesota is in first place in the Western Conference at 28-and-11. Tomorrow's game starts at 6:00PM.


The Twins are bolstering their farm system. The team signed shortstop Daiber De Los Santos and outfielder Eduardo Beltre in international free agency yesterday. De Los Santos was the eighth-best prospect from the international pool, while Beltre was ranked at number-39. Minnesota also signed six other prospects outside of the top-50.


Emanuel Reynoso is a no-show at Minnesota United training camp for a second season in a row. Reynoso failed to report to the beginning of camp last week. The Loons star missed the first few months of Minnesota's regular season last year. He still managed to score six goals and tally four assists in 18 matches last season. In other club news, the Loons signed defender Derek Dodson and forward Jordan Adebayo-Smith yesterday.


The Minnesota Gophers are on a two-game losing streak following an 86-77 loss to Iowa at Williams Arena. Minnesota trailed by seven at halftime and never got within one possession during the second half. Dawson Garcia poured in 30 points in the losing effort.


The Bucks hit the hardwood again tomorrow night. The team tips off against the Cavaliers in Cleveland. Milwaukee is coming off an overtime win against the Kings where Damian Lillard nailed a buzzer-beating three to seal the victory. Milwaukee is first in the Central Division at 28-and-12.


The Divisional round matchups in the NFL playoffs have been set following the conclusion of Monday's Wild Card games. The Bills cruised to a 31-17 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Orchard Park to advance. Buffalo will host the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers crushed the Philadelphia Eagles 32-9 in Tampa. The Bucs battle the Lions in Detroit on Sunday afternoon. After earning a first round bye in the AFC, the top-seeded Ravens square off against the Houston Texans in Baltimore on Saturday afternoon. The San Francisco 49ers, who earned the Number-1 seed in the NFC, play host to the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night.
