HOPE Coalition has partnered with Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services for many years to connect the people they serve to free legal services on the second Friday of each month from 9 am – 1 pm.
Civil legal matters they cover include family law, government benefits, housing and refugee and immigrant services.
It’s easy to set up a meeting with a SMRLS attorney at HOPE Coalition at the Red Wing or Wabasha office.
Apply for help online at smrls.org/am-i-eligible or call their intake hotline at 1-877-696-6529. Once SMRLS confirms they can assist you, discuss with them where you would like to meet (Red Wing or Wabasha) and what time (between 9:00am and 1:00pm).
Call HOPE Coalition or get in touch with your advocate to be placed on the meeting schedule to ensure a private meeting room is reserved for you and your attorney.
