A Red Wing man and three passengers were injured Monday night following a single vehicle crash.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports 49-year-old Tony Cuchetti of Red Wing was driving north on Hwy. 61 in Red Wing, just east of the Hwy. 63 bridge that crosses into Wisconsin at 7:06 pm.Â
The vehicle drifted onto gravel and Cuchetti was unable to correct and lost control of the vehicle. The SUV crossed over the southbound lanes and went down a hill, landing on its roof on East 5th St. on the south side of the Hwy. 61 bridge that passes over the city street.
Cuchetti and his three passengers, identified as 39-year-old Lacy Kate Schumann, a 12-year-old boy and five-year-old boy also from Red Wing, were taken to a hospital for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, all four of the SUV’s occupants were wearing seatbelts and alcohol was not involved in the crash. Red Wing Police Department and Red Wing Fire Department assisted at the scene.
