There is still time to purchase tickets to county star Larry Gatlin’s show, an Intimate Evening of Song and Stories, at the Sheldon Theatre in Red Wing tommorow night.
Friday’s show starts at 7:30 pm and Gatlin says the Gatlin Brothers are still together but his solo show gives him a chance to share some of the amazing experiences he’s had in his nearly 70 years in music.
Gatlin tells of the time he met Barry Gibb of the Bee Gee’s, they wrote a song called Indian Summer, and the next thing you know they are recording it with his friend Roy Orbison.
The Gatlin Brothers are a Grammy Award-winning trio and have accumulated 7 # 1 Singles and 32 Top 40 Records.
Larry’s massive song catalog has been recorded by Elvis Presley, Barbara Streisand, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Kris Kristofferson, Sir Tom Jones, and dozens of others.
