MSC Southeast President Search

Minnesota State College Southeast’s search for their next  president will continue after the four finalist candidates selected unfortunately did not receive widespread campus support.

Chancellor Scott Olson has decided to start from scratch.

Olson is planning on visiting the Winona and Red Wing campuses today and will meet with faculty and staff to answer questions and to talk about next steps.

Once these conversations are complete, Olson will evaluate the options for the college’s future leadership, including the possibility of appointing an interim president as they prepare to launch a comprehensive search.

Dr. Marsha Danielson, who has served as president of MSC Southeast since July 1, 2021, is retiring at the conclusion of her current contract on June 30, 2026.
