The Red Wing Family YMCA is holding their first golf fundraiser this weekend and there is still time to get involved.
CEO/Executive Director, Bryan Soper, says the new event kicks off their Annual Campaign of fundraising for their youth programing.
The best ball Golf for Kids tournament is Friday at the Red Wing Golf Club with a shotgun start at 10 am with lunch to follow. Entry is $85 per person.
Dollars raised will support scholarships for the Y’s Early Childhood Education Center, Camp Pepin, swim lessons and financial assistance for youth, adults, families and seniors.
Soper says Youth Development at the YMCA includes several options for early childhood and preschool and the Y offers a wide variety of scholarships.
