The Red Wing Area Food Shelf has tallied the results of the November 19th and 20th annual KWNG-KCUE radio food collection, Project Food Shelf, at Walmart.
Food Shelf Manager, Brenda Medina, says they collected a total of 222 bags, 1,726 pounds of food, and $215 dollars in total from the food drive.
Medina says she is amazed with the results and thanks all the people who donated and the volunteers for their help and support during the drive.
The Red Wing Area Food Shelf is located at 1755 Old West Main Street and is open Tuesdays from 4 pm to 6 pm, Thursdays 4 pm to 6 pm, and Fridays 11 am to 1 pm.
