A new mural is coming to Red Wing. The unassuming gray building at Bluff & Third Streets is owned by the City, and it's one of the first things people crossing the bridge into Red Wing see.
This blank canvas will be the backdrop of a new mural honoring the Dakota people and culture.
Representatives from the Prairie Island Indian Community, Goodhue County, and the City of Red Wing are collaborating on the project.
The mural is planned for fall of 2022.
