MnDOT Texting Scam

The Minnesota Department of Transportation is warning people of a scam going around.

People are receiving a text claiming to be MnDOT and asking the recipient for a driver’s license waiver validation and instructs them to click a link.

MnDOT says this is a phishing scam and please DO NOT click on the link. Remember: MnDOT does not oversee drivers licenses and they would never ask for your personal information via text message.
