Amateur Baseball:
Miesville Mudhens 9 Red Wing Aces 1-TJ Swidorski, Ronnie Sweeney and Brock Rinehart hit home runs as the Mudhens beat the Aces in the regular season finale for both teams at the Red Wing Athletic Field.
Swidorski's home run was a solo blast off Aces starting pitcher Jack Carlson in the third inning. Sweeney had a two run dinger and Rinehart a solo shot in the fifth off against Aidan O'Brien, the second of four pitchers the Aces used Tuesday night.
The Mudhens (21-5) banged out 13 hits while the Aces (17-11) managed just two hits in the contest.
