The Hispanic Outreach of Goodhue County is hosting a free family event for the community Saturday, September 11th.
Executive Director, Lucy Richardson, says the annual Hispanic Heritage Festival will be held in Central Park from 2 pm to 7pm.
National Hispanic Heritage Month 2021 runs from September 15th through October 15th and Richardson says the festival will feature music, food, dance performances and more.
Richardson says the festival will include many artistic cultural activities.
The mission of the Hispanic Outreach of Goodhue County is to meet the needs of newcomers to our community.
Richardson says they are partnering with C.A.R.E. Clinic in Red Wing to provide free COVID vaccine shots during Saturdays festival. She also says they could use additional volunteers, who will be getting a free event t-shirt.
