The public is invited to attend an in-person public meeting today (Wednesday, November 29th)

to learn more about a project to replace the Highway 61 bridge over CP Rail south of Red Wing, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Join them any time from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the Red Wing Public Library’s Foot Room and learn more about the planned improvements, construction staging, and project schedule.
No formal presentation is planned and people can drop in at any time.
The new Highway 61 bridge over the Canadian Pacific rail line will be constructed to the north of the existing bridge to maintain two-way traffic during construction.
Highway construction will begin in spring of 2024 and should be complete in fall of 2024.
