Opsahl to Mankato!
Senior Will Opsahl of Goodhue will play college basketball at Minnesota State-Mankato.
Opsahl, an outstanding basketball and football player for the Wildcats the past three years, announced Monday he has committed to playing college hoops for the Mavericks.
Opsahl helped Goodhue reach the section finals in football and basketball as a junior last season.
Opsahl is the Wildcats quarterback on the football team and at 6'6", is a versatile basketball player for Coach Matt Halvorson's squad and will be one of the top players in the area in boys basketball this coming winter season.
