Volleyball:
The Cannon Falls Bombers beat Pequot Lakes 3-0 to win the State Class AA volleyball championship at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
The Bombers cruised to a 25-17, 25-18, 25-21 win and never lost a set in their trio of wins at the state tournament.
Cannon Falls finishes the season with a 29-7 record.
Girls Hockey:
Winona 2 Red Wing 1
The Winhawks edged the Wingers in the season opener for both teams Saturday afternoon at Prairie Island Arena.
Avery Engbrecht scored both of Winona's goals...one in the first period and one in the second period. Alli Krueger scored the Wingers goal in the third period.
Red Wing outshot Winona 26-16 but was 0-6 on the power play in the game.

The Wingers 200 yard freestyle relay team (Emma Hoppman, Great Lane,Ari Holzer, Kyrrah Mullaney) and Emma Hoppman competes in the 100 yard backstroke.

Red Wing hosts a scrimmage with Waseca, South St. Paul and Minnesota River starting with the Red Wing vs. Waseca scrimmage at 3:30pm. The Red Wing JV scrimmages the South St. Paul JV at 6pm and the Wingers varsity scrimmages Minnesota River at 8:30pm.
