Goodhue County Sheriff's Citizens Academy

The Goodhue County Sheriff's Office is offering the Sheriff's Citizens Academy, February 10-May 17.

Citizens Academy attendees will gain a working knowledge of the Sheriff's Office, such as the uniformed patrol division, special operations, criminal investigations, E911 operations, jail operations and other areas. 

The academy is free of charge and will consist of 10 classes, three hours per session. 

Deputies, supervisors, and other personnel with expertise in different areas of the Sheriff's Office will conduct each instructional block. 

Applications are due by Momday, January 27.
