The County of Goodhue will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 3, to consider an emergency moratorium on the establishment of new uses or the expansion of existing uses related to sales, testing, manufacturing, distribution, and commercial cultivation of cannabis products.
The Goodhue County Board of Commissioners will be reviewing and discussing a proposal to institute an emergency moratorium through January 1, 2025, for cannabis.
The Goodhue County Board of Commissioners upon adoption of any moratorium will undertake a process to study and conduct hearings on amending or adopting official controls relating to cannabis.
The public hearing will be conducted during a special meeting of the Goodhue County Board which will begin at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3rd at the Cannon Valley Fairgrounds, 800 N 9th Street, Cannon Falls.
