Authorities in Wabasha County continue to investigate a threat made against a school building in Plainview.
Police went to the PEM 7-8 building Wednesday after the threat was posted on a Snapchat account.Â
PEM Interim Superintendent, Erick Enger, says after initially hearing from law enforcement kids were allowed to come to school, but after receiving an update report they changed course quickly.
Enger says students and staff were searched before they were allowed to enter the building while officers also looked for any suspicious items or people on the school grounds.
Enger says the threat is being investigated by Plainview police and the FBI.
