Zumbrota Vehicle Pedestrian Accident

Zumbrota Police Department responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash on 2nd Street W. at West Avenue Wednesday, at 5:25 pm.

A pedestrian who was walking north in the crosswalk along West Avenue was struck by a pickup truck which was westbound 2nd Street W.

Minnesota State Patrol responded at the request of Zumbrota Police Department to conduct crash reconstruction of the incident.

The victim was airlifted to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester and is listed in critical condition.

The investigation is still ongoing.
