Area residents are invited to join the fight to end Alzheimer’s by participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s – River Cities on Saturday, Sept. 20th, at Colvill Park in Red Wing.
This years goal is to raise $40,000 for dementia support programs and research.
On Walk day, participants honor those affected by Alzheimer’s with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony — a mission-focused experience that signifies our solidarity in the fight against the disease.
During the ceremony, walkers will carry flowers of various colors, each color representing their personal connection to the disease. Q Media’s News Director, Greg Taylor, will again emcee the event.
Last years event featured about 125 walkers and many donors and sponsors who raised more than $31,000 to support the Alzheimer’s Association.

We feel very fortunate to have…
