Wabasha Rotary Club Projects

The Wabasha Rotary Club is grateful to receive a $5,000 donation from the Wabasha-Kellogg Area Community Foundation to help bring its 75th anniversary projects to life, including the planned Music Park at Beach Park.

The Music Park will create a fun, welcoming space where children, families, visitors, and residents can come together, explore music, and enjoy time outdoors as a community.

According to the Wabasha County Herald, the project is one of two community efforts the club is leading as part of its 75 years of service in Wabasha.

Wabasha Rotary Club is also inviting the community to help support these projects through a matching funds challenge of up to $12,000, available through Friday.

The matching funds are made possible by club members and the Wabasha-Kellogg Area Community Foundation.

The second project will improve safety for pedestrians and bicyclists crossing Highway 30/Hiawatha Drive East near Big River Resort.

This heavily traveled area connects schools, homes, businesses, and workplaces, making pedestrian safety a community-wide concern.
