Red Wing Police Citizens Academy

The Red Wing Police Department is excited to announce that they are now taking applications for their 2026 Citizens Academy.

The eight-week interactive program provides residents with a behind-the-scenes look at modern policing through presentations, demonstrations, and discussions with officers.

Whether you want to learn more about investigations, traffic enforcement, specialized units, or simply connect with your local police department, the Citizens Academy offers a unique opportunity to learn and engage with those who serve our community.

Classes begin Wednesday, October 7.

 Open to Red Wing residents 18+.

Enrollment limited to 10 participants.
