Wabasha Eagles Basin Playground Opens

The new Eagles Basin playground in Wabasha is now officially open.

The full mitigation cost of moving and installing the park equipment to the Eagles Basin site was completely covered by crucial grant funding sourced from last year’s flood event.

While the playground is now fully operational and ready to be utilized, the City of Wabasha is planning for upcoming enhancements for the park.

Future work will include the installation of a concrete sidewalk directly connecting the park to Wabasha’s popular city bike trail, further improving accessibility.

Additionally, two new concrete pads will be poured to accommodate new park benches.
