Reds Wing Summer Theatre Intensive

Community Education & Recreation's two week Young Peoples' Summer Theatre Intensive program will conclude Friday with  performances for the public at 4 and 7 pm in the Red Wing High School Little Theatre.

This years play, a musical, Annie Jr., runs between 60 and 75 minutes. The plot follows the story of an optimistic orphan seeking her parents while outsmarting the cruel or[hanage director, Miss Hannigan.

Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students at the door. Sales will support youth theatre opportunities.

In addition to acting in the performance (and lending musical talents to the show), young people learn and grow in their knowledge and experience of the many aspects of stage production.

Students in grades 5-12 are responsible for the set design, costumes, props, backstage crew, sound, lights and publicity.
