Wabasha County CUP Approved

Wabasha County Commissioners on May 6 approved a Conditional Use Permit from Rick Billings for the operation of a lodging establishment near Wabasha in Greenfield Township.

The Plainview News reports Billings submitted a complete CUP application on March 20 to use a single family residence as the lodging establishment.

The County Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on April 28 to hear any testimony related to the, request and voted 4-0 in recommending approval of the proposed CUP with four conditions including:

Any expansion or alteration of the use shall not be undertaken until an amendment to this Conditional Use Permit is approved by the Wabasha County Board of Commissioners and the CUP shall terminate when there is a transfer of title out of possession of either Marcy or Rick Billings.
