Red Wing Downtown Main Street is bringing a brand new experience to downtown Red Wing: the History + Hauntings Walking Tour.
This 1.5-hour guided walking tour departs from the Train Depot and winds through our historic downtown, weaving together documented history with local legends and paranormal tales.
Along the way you'll pass landmarks like the Sheldon Theatre and the St. James Hotel, and hear about Dakota homelands, early settlement, Mississippi River lore, and the unexplained happenings that have become part of our town's fabric.
Leading the way is Leah B, their incredibly experienced guide and a true gift of a storyteller.
Downtown Main Street is offering the tours on four dates this year.
Thursday, July 2 - Thursday, August 6 - Thursday, September 24 - Thursday, October 29.
Each tour runs from 6:30-8 pm and it’s an easy walk with one moderate hill, fully on paved surfaces, and wheelchair accessible.
