Wabasha 2026 Taxy Levy Approved

Wabasha City Administrator Caroline Gregerson recently presented the 2026 budget to explain the City’s tax levy, which will increase by just under 10%.

The levy is the total amount the City collects from taxpayers during a fiscal year.

The budget process began in July, when each department analyzed its services and estimated costs.

The preliminary budget was presented to the City Council in August at a 12% increase.

Estimated property tax increases were mailed to residents in November.
