Plainview Small Cities Funding

The City of Plainview has received $599,982 in Small Cities Development Program funding through the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development.
The funding will support improvements to 21 owner-occupied homes within the city limits. It is available to eligible Plainview residents who meet established income guidelines.
The Plainview News reports assistance will be provided in the form of a 7-year forgivable loan, and qualified homeowners will be served on a first-come first-served basis.
Eligible improvements may include:
- Health and safety improvements.
- Energy efficiency upgrades.
- Accessibility modifications.
