W-K Public Schools Delayed Start

Wabasha-Kellogg Public Schools Superintendent Nels Onstad has provided an update regarding the start of the school year.

There will be no Open House or school the week of September 1st.

Unfortunately, they must once again delay the start of school as they work through both the short-term and long-term needs for mold remediation in the building.

Although there was work being done in the building over the Labor Day weekend, they are still impacted by the time needed for demolition and construction necessary to properly prepare their classrooms.

You can expect another communication from the Superintendent shortly after Labor Day with more information/timeline.
