The co-author of the book, Veteran’s in Crisis, says a new non-profit, Veteran’s Empowered Inc., is helping veterans, first responders, their friends, family members and communities suffering from the effects of a traumatic event.
Col. B. Wayne Quist, USAF Retired, co-authored the new book Veterans in Crisis, Helping Veterans Suffering with PTSD, along with Dr. Steve Lansing, and says the organization and the book are designed to teach about Post Traumatic Syndrome and ways to combat it.
Colonel Quist says there will 10,000 copies of the book published, with the plan to give away half of them while speaking at a variety of venues, including veteran hospitals.
For more information and to order the book, go to https://www.vetsempowered.org/.
There will be a book signing Friday June 21st from 4-6 pm at the Red Wing American Legion Post 54 for all veterans and members of all veteran organizations.
