Wastewater Treatment Facility Tours

Every time water goes down the drain in your sink, shower, or toilet, Red Wing’s wastewater treatment facility cleans it before that same water enters the Mississippi River.

The City of Red Wing is offering residents another opportunity this month to take a peek behind the scenes and see what happens there.

The tour is Wednesday, April 29, at 5:30 p.m.

Directions, drive east on East Fifth Street all the way to the end of the street. Park in the lot next to the facility or on the side of the paved road along the river.

The tours are free and family-friendly. You are advised to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes.
