The annual United Way of Goodhue, Wabasha, Pierce counties school supply drive pickup event is coming up August 18th.
Executive Director, Maureen Nelson, says the goal is to collect new basic supplies to assemble kits for local elementary, middle and high school students.
Items needed include pencils, pens and colored pens, crayons, markers, glue sticks, rulers, scissors, and notebooks.
Nelson says the drive has officially wrapped up but you can still donate before the pickup event Thursday, August 18 at the Red Wing Elks Lodge from 3 pm – 6 pm.
