Twin Bluff Winter Walk to School Day

More than 60 Minnesota schools and hundreds of students are expected to participate in Minnesota’s Winter Walk to School Day on Wednesday.

Twin Bluff Middle School in Red Wing will be participating in the special Walk on Wednesday.

Whether it’s walking to school for classes or exploring your neighborhood with family, Twin Bluff Middle School encourages people to get out and enjoy this wonderful, warm wintry weather.

The annual event, sponsored by Minnesota Safe Routes to School, encourages students and parents to celebrate the fun of walking while increasing their physical activity, reducing traffic congestion around schools, and practicing pedestrian and bicycle safety skills.
