The Timberwolves took control in the fourth quarter of their 121-109 win over the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center. The Wolves trailed by two early in the frame before going on a 27-6 run to put the game away. Anthony Edwards poured in 41 points during the victory, while Nickeil Alexander-Walker finished with 18 off the bench. The Wolves remain in first place in the Western Conference at 38-and-16. Minnesota takes on the Blazers again tomorrow night.
The Wild go for their fourth win in a row when they visit the Arizona Coyotes at Mullett Arena tonight. The Wild are coming off a 5-3 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday. Minnesota is in sixth place in the Central Division with 53 points and a 24-23-and-5 record. Tonight's game begins at 8:30PM.
Baseball is back for the Twins. The club's pitchers and catchers report for Spring Training in Florida today. The Twins will try to win their second consecutive AL Central title after finishing with an 87-75 record and losing to the Astros in the ALDS last season. The Twins first Spring Training game will be on February 24th against the Pirates.
