The Timberwolves are on a five-game winning streak following a 102-94 win over the San Antonio Spurs at the Target Center. Minnesota trailed by two early in the fourth quarter before taking control of the contest with a 16-2 run. Mike Conley poured in 18 points in the victory, while Rudy Gobert had 16 points, 20 rebounds, and two blocks. The Wolves have the best record in the NBA at 16-and-4. They visit the Grizzlies tomorrow night.
The Wild search for their fifth win in a row when they visit the Vancouver Canucks at Rogers Arena tonight. The Wild are coming off a 5-2 road win over the Calgary Flames on Tuesday. Minnesota remains in seventh place in the Central Division with 22 points and a 9-10-and-4 record. Tonight's game begins at 9:00PM.
The Vikings are keeping their faith in Joshua Dobbs. Head coach Kevin O'Connell told reporters yesterday that Dobbs is keeping the starting quarterback job for Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Dobbs has committed six turnovers in his last two games, both of which were Vikings losses. He's passed for 832 yards, five touchdowns, and five interceptions in four games with Minnesota. Sunday's game kicks off at 3:05PM.
The NBA In-Season Tournament makes a stop in Las Vegas tonight. The Semifinals feature a pair of teams from each conference battling at T-Mobile Arena for a spot in the Championship. The top-seeded Bucks tip off against the Number-2 Pacers in the East, while the Number-1 Lakers square off against the third-seeded Pelicans out West. Milwaukee crushed the Knicks in the Quarterfinals to advance. The Championship game takes place on Saturday.
