RWPS Minnesota’s SUN Bucks Program




Red Wing Public Schools are reminding the community that Minnesota’s SUN Bucks program will provide eligible families with $40 per month per child this summer.


Once families qualify, the district will submit data to the Minnesota Department of Education and then the Department of Children, Youth, and Families will issue benefits directly to eligible families.


Students with an approved Application for Educational Benefits for free and reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program are also eligible.


Complete an application using your Red Wing Public Schools meal account at http://www.schoolcafe.com.


If you have already submitted an application for educational benefits for the 2024-2025 school year, there is no need to fill out another one. Your family will automatically be enrolled for this benefit.
